Himalaya PVC Footsteps are manufactured from high-density polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and are designed for installation inside manholes to provide safe access for inspection and maintenance personnel. Unlike conventional cast iron step irons, PVC footsteps are completely immune to corrosion, even in the aggressive H2S atmosphere of sewerage manholes. The grooved anti-slip surface ensures safe footing in wet conditions. Pre-embedded steel core provides the structural strength required to support maintenance workers. Compliant with relevant IS standards.
